Rick Hack signs to Red Queen!

Rick Hack, just debuted three songs from his band, The Tinbenders  at the TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL in a new film "SISTER"  that were included in the soundtrack. 

The Tinbenders grew in popularity and opened for many notable southern bands which helped them build a solid fan base.  In the Southeast, bands like The HaziesCowboy MouthDrivin’ n CryinTonic, and even Hootie and the Blowfish allowed the band to establish a name of their own. Their debut release received mainstream airplay so audiences grew from regional shows to one performance for over 10,000 in the central park of Columbia, South Carolina. 

 Over the last 5 years Rick joined a new band called The Burn Riffs with friends and reunited with artist, John Thomas Griffin (guitarist of "Cowboy Mouth" and "The Red Rockers") to write new material. Along the way, he collaborated with Robb Torres of the bandTrapt to co-write songs. Rick and the band also created two songs for the film trailer “For Ellen” starring Paul Dano and John Heder. The 2014 Tribeca Film Festival, will debut a new film “Sisters” starring Barbara Hershey and Reid Scott, and will feature three songs created by The Tinbenders. 

In addition, Rick’s band recently performed with the 80s iconic band Big Country for their latest world tour. He’s performed with Freedy JohntonHAIMThe Kyle Gass BandMarcy Playground, appeared on numerous radio and TV programs and soon to play withEverclear. He has graced the stage of House of Blues on Sunset, The Viper Room, The Mint and other notable venues in Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco. Rick writes and performs his own songs and he says he has “more stories to tell now that he is in his 40’s,” and is excited about going into the RED QUEEN STUDIOS to record and create new material. "
